Burt Bacharach Biography
Burt Bacharach is an American six-time Grammy Award winner and three-time Academy Award-winning Composer, Songwriter, Record Producer, and Pianist, who was born in Kansas City, Missouri and brought up in Kew Gardens, New York City, United States of America.
He is widely known for composing hundreds of pop songs from the late 1950s to the 1980s, and for making numerous collaboration with lyricist Hal David. His songs have been recorded by more than 1,000 different artists, and he had written 73 US and 52 UK Top 40 hits as of 2014.
